ILLINOIS, USA: Patricia Hoyos, Psy.D, Inc. provides mental health consultation to community-based programs such as Head Start, mother-infant programs, and programs for children with disabilities. This is an independent contractor position as a mental health consultant at a mother-infant program. Responsibilities will include providing training workshops and support to case workers who service pregnant women, as well as running psycho-educational groups for pregnant women starting this summer. Hours: 8hrs/month - 4 hours a month of staff workshops, plus (starting this summer) 4 hours a month for parent groups at various Chicago and suburban sites. May also have the opportunity to do more work at Head Start sites in the near future.Must commit to the position for at least one year. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Psychology or related fieldClinical experience working with children and/or parents.Bilingual (English/Spanish)Car and valid driver’s license. Rate: Starting at $30/hr commensurate with education and experience. (Posted 4/09)
